Custom Orders

The designers which are stocked at Downtown work very much the old-world way, producing very limited quantities of each piece, usually entirely by hand.  In addition, most of the pieces we offer have been created exclusively for us and are not available at any other shop.

Generally, the sizes and quantities which we have are all that are ever available.  However, due to the very close relationships we have with our designers, it is sometimes possible for us to deliver a custom order for our clients:

• Where we do not have your size;
• Where you would like to have a different color than what we're offering;
• For a piece that you have seen elsewhere and would like to have made for you;
• And sometimes, if it's possible, we can even deliver a custom order based upon your own ideas of changes to an existing piece that we are offering.

Please contact us regarding any special request that you might have in mind.  Once confirmed, our custom order policy requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to initiate production (at which time we'll provide you with a delivery date).  When we know that your piece is on its way to us, we'll collect that balance from you and finally, when it arrives, we'll send it off to you via 2nd Day Air at no charge.
