Jean-Francois Mimilla
Self-taught jewelry designer Jean-Francois Mimilla began to make experimental jewelry under the name Jean-Francois Mimilla for Marc Le Bihan. He has been designing jewelry for Marc Le Bihan since its creation in 1991. In 1996, he decided to continue under his own name and label. Fascinated by vintage and old materials, he surveys the flea markets of Saint-Ouen looking for old weathered fabrics, ancient lace, beads, glass craft and dusty photographs. All the treasures he finds are then hand worked in his studio. They are processed, washed, and oxidized to make beautiful, elegant and unique jewelry.
