One of the former designers of the legendary brand Carpe Diem, ma+ was born 9 collections ago in 2006. Beginning with a small range of bags, it steadily evolved to encompass shoes, clothing and accessories for men and women. Maurizio Amadei’s fascination with structure is evident when studying his garments. With a minimal use of seams, his methods of construction seem very simple at first glance but turn out to be far more complex upon closer inspection. Many pieces, such as knit cotton shirts and leather bags, are constructed from a single piece of material resulting in unique and innovative cuts. MA+ IS DESIGNED IN ROME, CRAFTED BY HAND THERE, AND EVERY PIECE IS MADE USING A FABRIC OR LEATHER EXCLUSIVE TO MAURIZIO.
